Quick fixes
QR code will not scan
Open the full-screen badge, raise screen brightness, avoid glare, and keep the entire white border visible. Try the high-contrast QR option in Settings.
Avatar import shows a warning
Confirm the file is a VRM model, then read the compatibility report. SonaPin supports compatible VRM 0.x and VRM 1.0 models, but some extensions or animations may use a fallback.
Avatar faces the wrong way
Use the avatar stage controls to rotate, center, and reset the view. If Reset does not restore a usable view, include the model’s VRM version in your report.
Motion feels uncomfortable
Enable Reduce Motion in iOS or SonaPin, lower interaction sensitivity, or turn off avatar interactions. SonaPin follows the system Reduce Motion setting.
Badge details are wrong
Open Settings, choose Edit Profile or Edit QR Code, make the correction, and return to the badge. Your changes save locally.
Start over
Settings → Delete All Local Data removes SonaPin’s saved profile, QR settings, preferences, and app-managed avatar, then returns to onboarding.
What to include in a report
- SonaPin version and build from Settings → About SonaPin.
- iPhone model and iOS version.
- What you expected, what happened, and steps that reproduce it.
- A screenshot or screen recording when it is safe to share.
- For avatar issues, the VRM specification version and the compatibility warning text.
Protect your sona: Do not email a private VRM file, QR payload, or other sensitive information unless support asks for it and you are comfortable sharing it. A screenshot can expose the QR content.
Model rights
Only import and display a model you own or have permission to use. SonaPin can summarize embedded license metadata, but it cannot grant rights or decide whether a specific use is allowed. See the Terms of Use.
Accessibility support
SonaPin supports VoiceOver labels, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, high-contrast QR presentation, and native touch targets. Include the relevant accessibility setting when reporting a problem.
